Windows XP cannot access win 98 system

I have set up a 2 machine network, both get internet, both can see the other
computer. I can ping both sytems from the XP system. I can access the XP
files on the 98 system, and both computers see each other, but! When I try to
access the widows 98 computer from the XP machine, I can not. I get
"please contact system admin, you may not have permision to access"
or something very similar. I have tried everything I can think of. Both
systems belong to same work group, both can access the printer. and I can use
98 system to see / access XP systems files with no trouble (after I turned
off windows firewall. lol), but XP just will not connect to 98? Anyone know
what I am missing here?

Kedrid,

This is a browser conflict. Start by running browstat:
