Windows XP bundled games

Whenever I play any of the games bundled with XP
(solitaire, spider solitaire, freecell, hearts) I get a
message saying "Windows has detected and recovered from a
critical device failure . . ." After "recovering" my
display is locked in the lowest resolution and with only
8 bit(?) color (similar to Safe Mode). The problem never
occurs immediately, but always eventually happens if I
play the game long enough. Rebooting restores the
display. I have never had this happen with any other
application, Microsoft or otherwise. Any ideas or
suggestions would be welcome.

Open event viewer in ADM.(control-panel) youll find the
info and answers to why its doing just that.Probably
min amount of memory,lack of video card,drivers to the
card,page file,somewhere in there.
