Games/Accessories Lost

John R

Home Edition came with Accessories and Games. In Accessories there is
Character Map, Clipboard Viewer, Desktop Wallpaper, Document Template, Mouse
Pointer and MS Paint. In Games there is Hearts, Internet Games, Minesweeper,
Solitaire and Spider Solitaire. Currently I can run Clip Board Viewer MS
Paint and Spider Solitaire. These are the only ones. With Add Windows
Components it will not read from the CD which is an XP Home Edition upgrade.
Looking in the System folder only MS Paint, Clip Board and Spider Solitaire
could be found. How can I restore the missing files? Is there another place
I should look? Thanks John R

Hi John R,

Since that problem just started happening recently, try a System Restore.

How to use Windows XP System Restore:

A search of files and folders for freecell.exe indicates NO finds! If exe
file for freecell is not in the computer would System Restore help?

Hi John R,

Try searching for "Freecell" in hidden, system and compressed folders.
