Windows xp auto suspend

I am as expected at a dead end with Microsoft "support". All I am trying
to do is stop windows from "signing off" after about 30 minutes of non use.
This does not happen on my laptop with XP. The only suggestion was to go to
the screen saver window and UN-check the auto suspend box but it IS already
unchecked. Can anyone help me since Microsoft will not?

Control Panel>Power Options>Advance>Uncheck "Prompt for password when
computer resumes from Standby".
