windows wont start up

i have a dell computer desktop and had recently changed the keyboard. now
when i turn on the computer it goes to the dell logo thing and then to a
black screen with a small white line on the left top corner. ive tried
everything and it still does that. it didnt come with a xp disk. what is
wrong and how can i fix it

What interface is the new keyboard? USB? What interface was the old
keyboard? Have you check your BIOS settings?
