Windows won't shut down

I am having a problem getting my computer to shut down. Or restart. Whenever
I try, it stays in 'Windows Shutting Down'. I have to physically turn the
computer off and on and it's a little annoying. Any suggestions?

I am having the exact same problem as described above however, I'm not able
