windows wont respond

often, windows will stop responding until i press cntrl alt del then click on
the taskmanager, and then i can resume using windows normally. When windows
wont respond no matter what i click on nothiong will happen. If i use the
windows start menu button that will come up but now menus or anything will
come up. This started about 6 months ago and has gotten to the absurd point
of doing this every 1-2 minutes. I tried reformatting and re-installing last
night, but the problem is back already. Please help. I have norton
anti-virus, and scan often for spyware so i dont think its that. and i havent
installed anything new so that shouldnt be the problem

FOund the problem, a piece of plastic was jammed in the slot for the scroll
wheel, so it would allow it to be pressed in easier. Removed the problem and
it works beautifully
