Windows Vista, Windows Media Player and SRS

Is it just me or maybe its Windows, but I can't seem to get the quaility
sound and performance from my laptop when I am anywhere near Windows Media.
Suggestions?
 
Go to your OEM's or sound card manufacturer's website and get the latest
driver.
