Windows Vista Mail - typing delay - solution

I use Vista's Windows Mail.

I was experiencing a VERY LONG DELAY when typing into a new e-mail.

The cause was that I had Vista's Speech Recognition enabled (but sleeping).

When I CLOSED the Speech Recognition feaure, AND opened a NEW new e-mail
(that is, closed the existing new e-mail, close speech recognition, THEN open
a new e-mail) the delay was gone.

Frustrated me for days...
