Windows Vista Email account selected for Reply

With Windows Vista Email, I have multiple email accounts for business and
personal use.

When I reply to a message from my Inbox, the email program automatically
selects my Default email account as my FROM account rather than selecting my
email account based on which of my accounts received the message.

Since I have my business email account selected as my Default email, this
means that my business email account will be used for FROM when I reply to my
personal email unless I am careful to check and change this with every reply
message.

I did not have this problem with Outlook Express 6 under Windows XP.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Sorry, I can't reproduce your issue.
I have 9 different email accounts, and when replying, it always picks
the account that downloaded the message.

I have exactly the same issue. I only have two accounts but when I reply to
an email received on the defualt it always tries to send via the other one.

I haven't been able to reproduce this issue. For me, replies always
use the account information corresponding to the account that
originally downloaded that message.

I seem to have resolved this issue by deleting the secondary account and
recreating it.

Thanks for that feedback.
Make sure you are not running one of the non-compatible antivirus
programs, McAfee or Norton. Otherwise the problem is likely to recur.
