Windows version on desktop

I've just installed Norton A.Virus 2004 and now the windows version is
displayed at the bottom right of my desktop. How do I disable this.I've
already tried going to Regedit.com but no help.

Hi Ivan,

Start/run certmgr.msc

Expand on Trusted Root Certificate Authorities, click on the Certificate
folder, look for Microsoft Test Root and delete it from the right-hand pane.
