Windows updates

I have Windows XP Home edition have scheduled for regular updates. When i
attempt to update i keep getting a message as follows:
"The software you are installing has not passed the Windows Loop testing to
verify its compatibility with Windows XP (Tell me why this testing is
important)

This software will not be installed. Contact your system administrator

Does anyone know why this may be happening?.

other than the KB835732 update is a bug in it. windows
update is a wee bit overwelmed latetly and may not be
scanning or fully downloading properly ,due to massive use
and a denial of service attack.
