Installing DirectX - admin problems ?

When I'm trying to install DirectX9.0 and I get this
puzzling message:

"The software that you are installing have not passed
Windows Logo testing to verify it's compatibility with
Windows XP.
The software will not be installed. Contact your system
administrator"

What is this? This is a Microsoft product ..

I too am getting this error. Is there ANY way to fix it? I need DirectX 9.0
to run a game on my computer, and its not letting me. Please help!
