I downloaded the updated Intelligent Transfer Service
which the Windows update site told me I needed before I
could download SP2. After that, the Task Manager failed
in that it told me that scheduled tasks didn't run as the
username and password were incorrect, which they weren't.
I have had this problem before with other Windows updates.
I uninstalled the newly downloaded program and the
problem resolved itself. I am therefore forced to
consider whether any future Windows updates are going to
cause this problem, including SP2. I don't see the point
in carrying out such updates if there is an unfixed 'bug'
somewhere.
Does anyone know if SP2 will overcome this issue?
Thanks
