Windows Update

Today I tried to go to the update page and it appeared the page was about to
load and all I got was a blank white screen and the word done in the bottom
left corner. Windows Update has been working for a long time with no
problems. the computer is up to date with all the critical updates as of
last week. Anyone have an Idea what has happened and why I can not see the
page? There was no error messages just a blank white page. The only program
that was downloaded an installed was the 2007 time zone update for US DST
yesterday I uninstalled it but the problem remains.

what Browser are you using. My windows update only works with IE so try it
with that if you haven't been..

There's an IE Tab extension for Firefox so you can use Windows Updates
in Firefox....and yes it does work.

oh, sorry. I was talking about without that extension.

Thanks for the reply still update will not work it's just seems so strange
Windows Update has work for more than a year with no problems.
