Could anyone tell me how to delete those updates which I
do not wish to install from the list of Windows XP updates
that are shown as available to install?

Thanks

Trevor Johnson

Trevor, have you already downloaded them? If so, go into
Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs. Select the hotfix
you want to delete and remove it. If you have not already
downloaded them and are looking at
windowsupdate.microsoft.com, there is a box in the bottom
right section of each update that says 'remove'. If you
click it, it will not download that patch.

No I have not downloaded them. If I click "Remove" the
message is not downloaded but stays on the screen and re
appears every time I go to Windows Update. What I would
like to do is delete the update totally.

Any ideas?
