Windows Update SP2

I have chosen Automatic Download for Windows Updates.
When, and if SP2 starts downloading, how will I know it's
in the downloading process? Can't find this answer in all
the FAQs. Thanks.

There will be an icon next to your clock telling you this

Once the download starts it will continue in the background until the entire
file required is downloaded. This will restart at the point you shutdown
your PC etc so that you eventually get all the file. once downloaded you
will be prompted for your acceptance of the End User License Agreement.
