Hello,

Whenever I try to log into ANY of the Windows Update sites (WU, Microsoft
Update, etc.), all that I get is a blank white screen and the word "Done"
down in the lower left hand corner. It's been this way for a very long time
now, and I'm afraid that I'm missing some critical updates.

Does anyone have a solution for this? I've tried things before suggested
from this group, but nothing has worked.

Thanks,
mdvbilt

This happens to me on occasion but not with the update site. What I do is to
press the F5 key to force a refresh/download.

The way updates have been received over the last 6-7 weeks, you may be one
of the lucky ones having not downloaded.
If you want to look before you download, read some of the threads in
general/newusers and basic - do a find on updates, WGA, and KB numbers and
you will see some of the hassle some have been going through.
With reference to the WGA, it will discover if your WIN OS is genuine or
not.
