Windows update question???

I'm just wondering why XP update is offering me Msn Messenger 4.7 when I'm
already using ver.5 and I believe ver.6 is available? Any ideas?

Even better, click the ReadMore link on the Messenger 4.7 update - it
describes version 5.0. Confused - yep. Updater wants me to install the
NVidia driver that I already installed from NVidia directly. Wish there was
a way to mark updates as "Don't want it - ever, so stop reminding me."

You can mark any updates you don't want by going to the MS Windows
Update page and selecting "Personalize Windows Update" from the side
menu. Deselect those updates you want to ignore and they'll stop
reminding you...
