windows update problems

i have Win XP pro and recently when the system trys to
install updates, we receive an error stating that the
update is incompatible with our version of windows. How

I highly recommend you don't update. Just ignore it.

It is very likely not compatible with your version of OS
(Operating System). If you try to "force" it, you might
regret it.

It's possible you have a pirated copy of XP.
