Hi all
I'm a real computer novice & need advice on Windows update security
patches!
My pc has limited storage as i use only for internet & nothing else!
I went on the Microsoft Update page & it scanned for relevant patches for my
pc!
It came up with 52minutes worth of downloads!, none of which i understand!
Here are a fiew:-

1.Patch for Virtual Machine
2. " " Data Access Component
3. Windows share level password.
4. Windows 98 unchecked buffering html that leads to code execution.
5.IP Fragment reassembly , May 2000
6. 200s Commulative patch for WMP 6.4 (i have the bog standard WMP, IS THIS
6.4?)
7. File access url 1999.
8. Unchecked buffer in shell
9. Eroneous verisign, eliminates spoof hazzard
10. Eliminates dos device in device name
11.Eliminates spoof route & fragmented IGM pocket.

Do i need to download all these? Will they use up lots of storage & slow my
pc down!
I have AVG & Adaware, which i run regularly & ZoneAlarm firewall. I have
never downloaded a patch & don't know what any of the above do & which i
need to download, help please!

Thanks
Gary
