Questions with Windows Update Patches for Backup

Hi, all. I have backed up a clean image of hard disks which contain the OS
and all program files, surely including Windows Update Patches. However, the
OS will get more new patches frequently. Do I have to do the incremental
backup for the new-patch-installed system? Or just backup the new-installed
patches alone? And I don't know how to do the latter thing. (Using the third
party software WU Tool? It was found too hard to operate for me....)

Please give me advice and instructions.Thanks.

You mean you made an image using something like Ghost/True Image/BootItNG?
If so - then yeah - you are going to have to periodically make a whole new
image.

You can also just download the latest updates individually (yourself) and
save them... But everything else that changes on your system will not be in
the image unless you make a new image.
