I have that Windows Update icon display at lower-right corner for a few
days, the status remained at Downloading updates: 0%. it won't go away or
finish downloading, just stay at 0%. what's wrong? thanks

I have the same problem on many PCs I take care of at a TV station. I wish
Microsoft would address this issue because there are many people having the
same problem.

You're in the queue for downloading SP2. If you want, download the full
version, 266 MB, from here:

Choose the Download and Deploy Service Pack 2 to Multiple Computers link.

Or get a copy of the SP2 CD from Staples or attached to the cover of
some of the recent computer magazines.
