Windows Update Error Message

Whenever I click on 'scan for updates', updates are found
for 'critical updates' and 'windows updates', but for
driver updates all I get is the following error
message: 'An error occurred while scanning for driver
updates. We are not able to display any updated drivers
for your system'.
Any assistance with this problem would be much
appreciated.

I think there's something wrong with the Site with regard
to Drivers - mine is completely greyed-out and yet I
always had two there before I went for the five latest
Criticals

Maybe one of the Ms MVP's will know about it ?

Welcome to the crowd of others and me. I have been in

touch with Microsoft Technical Support for a week now
about the same exact problem you are incurring. (Still no
resolution). However, I think I spotted the problem being
in MS server akamai.net. I sent the rep a copy of my
msinfo32.nfo file pointed out where I think the problem
resides. On Monday, I hope to hear back from Microsoft.
