Windows uninstall

There is no text I can find that tells me how to uninstall and reinstall
Windows XP. Support topics only lead me to system restore which is not what
I want to do. Where can I find this info? Thanks.

You can not uninstall windows

You can reinstall it over the top of the original which will keep all the
files intact
or
you can reformat the disc - which deletes ALL files and then reinstall

What are you trying to achieve?
Why do you want to uninstall?

The normal way to "uninstall" any operating system is to format
the hard drive and install a new OS of your choice.

Simply boot from the WinXP installation CD. You'll be offered the
opportunity to delete, create, and format partitions as part of the
installation process. (You may need to re-arrange the order of boot
devices in the PC's BIOS to boot from the CD.)
