Windows XP SP3 Uninstallation ??

I have updated my OS to sp3, but my system gone so slow, that I can hardly
work on it. I tried to unistall it. But, after running diffrent successful
phases like :

Inspecting Current Confifuration
Checking for necessary space
Stopping servies
Restoring catalogs.

An error msg comes up in
"Running Processes Before Uninstall" phase as
"The System cannot find the file specified" . The msg after says
"The Service Pack 3 wasn't uninstalled".

What wud I do ?

click on start>run>
msconfig

disable your startups
and disable "non"
microsoft services.

then reboot and
recheck performance.
