Have started having trouble with the taskbar
disappearing. It will only be visible if I have a
toolbar loaded on it, such as Desktop. Otherwise it
disappears and I can't pull it up. Even when it is
visible, minimized windows are not displayed on it and I
have to use Task Manager to get them back. The trouble
all started when trying to load Norton's SystemWorks
2004. Had more trouble then I care to think about, and
never did get it installed.

Any suggestions are very much appreciated.

Thanks for the help, but that didn't work. I can get the
taskbar to be seen if I allow a toolbar to be on it,
otherwise it disappears. Plus, minimized programs don't
show. I can't move any of the toolbars either as they
seem to be "stuck" in place.

See Tip 240 at Kelly's site:
