windows\system32\config\system without bootable CD

Hooliganz

While traveling I had to drop my machine off for repair and the HD was
wiped.

I'm getting the above error and do not have a bootable CD. What can I
do?
 
How did the repair shop reload Windows XP without a CD?
You'll need a Windows XP CD in order to fix the problem.
