Windows System Restore

I could not get "System Restore". After checking files I found out that going
thru Symantec Norton's AntiVirus 2006 I could get System Restore as follows:
Start/Norton AntiVirus/Option/Miscellaneous - look for "How to Protect my
product" - Uncheck "Turn protection on for my Symantec product"/ click OK.-
Follow the operating system instructions to run Windows System Restore.

Is there anyway to avoid all of the above?

Please advise.

Thank you.

One option is don't use NAV. Another is contact Symantec Tech support.

Hi,

Here are four ways to start System Restore.

1. Go to Start - All Programs - Accessories - System Tools - System Restore.

2. Go to Start - Run and paste the following command then press enter.

%systemroot%\system32\restore\rstrui.exe

3. Go to Start - Run and type msconfig and press enter. Click on Launch System
Restore.

4. Go to Start - Help and support, "Undo changes to your computer with System
Restore"

Running NAV 2006, you will want to read this.
"Restoration Incomplete..." when running System Restore with Norton 2006
applications installed:
