Windows security settings fubar'd

I really hosed my system. Was trying to get windows
updates, trying different security settings. Now, most
everything I try to run returns "You do not have
sufficient security settings to....". I can't email from
Outlook 2003. I can't do system restore. etc.

Can anyone tell me how to restore my system?

Doug,

When you say all kind's of different Security Settings,
do you mean you applied different Policy settings to the
Machine? What exactly did you do.
