Windows restarts on blue screen

J

Joe

After turning the computer on, it boots up normally up to
the windows xp screen and few seconds later a blue screen
shows with the following message:
stop: c000021a {fatal system error} The Unhandled
Exception in Session Manager system process terminated
unexpectedly with a status of 0xc0000005 (0x48586026
0x0015fabc) The system has been shut down

This message appears right before the windows logon
screen would appear.
The message on the blue screen will last only 3 seconds
and the computer reboots. This process is repeated as
long as the power is on.

Please help.

Hi Joe,

Can you boot to Safe mode by hitting F8 at startup?
Did you recently install anything?

I responded to this message earlier this week but the servers have been
tempermental and you may have missed it.

The Stop error and the message are known to be caused by GoBack software.
You should check with them for an update to correct this problem.
Meanwhile, disable the program until it is patched and fixed. This program
was originally distributed by Roxio. It's now under Symantec's product
umbrella (www.symantec.com).
