windows problems

When dragging windows it is not a smooth operation, the windows are jerky
and the scrollbar does not respond properly is it something to do with the
videocard, directx, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Could be your virus program. Shut down unnesessary items a few at a time till
it's smooth. Then you'll know.
