Windows PC connecting to Mac OS 9 server (ASIP 6.3.3)

We have a Mac server (OS 9/ASIP 6.3.3).

I can connect to it from my PC (Win XP Pro SP1), but when in Word/Excell,
have trouble saving files. Usually the first save of a file to the Mac
server works, but subsequent saves seem to hang Windows and Word/Excel.

I had this problem with Win2K PCs with SP3, but it seems to have been fixed
in SP4.

But on XP, the problem persists. Any ideas?

Sorry if this not answering your question. You mention
that you had problem with Win2K PCs with SP3, but it seems
to be ok with SP4. May I know what type of Win2K? Is it
server or workstation (professional)?
