Windows ~ No Disk error

I keep getting a pop-up message that says: "Windows ~ No Disk", and beneath
it: "There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into drive."
I have absolutely no idea why I keep getting this error message. I have to
keep clicking on the X in the upper right hand corner and finally the pop-up
message vanishes.
I hope that someone can help me.

Which disk is being referred to?

I have absolutely no idea. That is what makes it so puzzling.
All I know is that up at the top of the pop-up message, it says: Windows~No
Disk

Sounds like your system is compromised with malware/spyware and possibly virus.
usually if your hd is failing (the usual reason you get a message like this)
it's give the BSOD a few times, and failed to boot once or twice.

I suggest you do some research on cleaning your system of these pests.

This certainly sounds like malware to me.

Try downloading AdAware, which is entirely free for personal use. Go
to download.com and search for it. After installing, let it update its
definition files and then have it do a full disk scan.
