windows movie maker

movie maker isn't working properly. It will not allow me to copy to a cd or
my video camera. It worked the first time I played with it but now all it
saws is "no recordable cd inserted , do you wish to save to hard drive?"
what can I do to fix this besides restore my pc ?

Movie maker doesn't do any copying to cd. You need a cd/dvd burning app
such as Nero/Roxio to do that.
