windows movie maker questions

[Macbeth]

I am having trouble with mvie maker that came with XP

i used it before and it seemed to work fine but since i formatted my
computer it doesn't seem to be working

i can't add effects to clips as well as transitions

can someone help me

You're using Outlook Express, hit the newsgroup button on the toolbar, then
type moviemaker into the search box and press enter. If you are using the
msnews.microsoft server to access this group, you'll find the
windowsxp.moviemaker newsgroup.

i click on news groups and type in moviemaker and nothing comes up

If you are accessing this newsgroup on the msnews.microsoft.com server,
click newsgroups and click reset list, that will download all the current
newsgroups on this server and that should then bring up the appropriate
newsgroups. If you are accessing this group through a different server, you
need to setup the msnews.microsoft.com server in Outlook Express.
