Windows Movie Maker problem

When I try to capture a file from in Movie maker fromm an
analog VCR, I get the message "The video device is
currently in use. Close any other application that is using
the device and try again." As far as I know there are no
other devices using the video device. Does anyone have any
suggestions on what I need to do to fix this?
 
I have the same problem. I spent 6 hours with Dell support and no answers! About ready to send it all back!
