windows movie maker crashes

i get onto movie maker, and then after about a minute, it crashes. it gives
me the send error report/not send screen. then it closes. i will post the
description of why it crashes.

thank you so much for giving me your website. i found out that i have codecs
that i disabled that you dont' have on the list. they are called:
PcleAudioCodec, PcleMpecDec, and MpecDecompress. they are all .ax files and i
believe that they come packaged with pinnacle studios programs.

Thanks... I have Pinnacle Studio 8 and don't have those files, so you
probably have version 9.

Did you find it necessary to disable them or did you do it just to play it
safe? If they caused a problem when enabled, I'll add them to my list.

i have the same problem with MS MM2.1 and i have pinnacle 9. When you said
you disabled several .ax files from pinnacle, did you change their names or
do something else. And how do you do the something else?
