Windows Messenger 5.0 & Adobe Acrobat reader 6.0

after Installing WinXP Messenger 5.0 on a system with
Adobe Acrobat reader 6.0 when I launch a PDF the
installer for Windows Messenger 5.0 launches and
continues to try even after I cancel several times. The
only fix that I have found is the re=installation of
Messenger 4.7. Anyone or even MS have a solution for this
WEIRD Anolmie.

In order to fix this, a simple
reinstallation of Windows Messenger 5.0 usually can correct the problem. To do so, first
make sure that Windows Messenger is shut down (right-click its icon in the notification
area/system tray, and choose Exit), then click Start, then Run, and type in the following:
msiexec /x {4A432C6C-1E20-4266-95D1-5782349C6C62}
then click OK, and choose Yes to uninstall the product.
