Windows Media Player

Windows Media Player has suddenly started opening when
the computer is originally booted up. I am unable to
get to the bottom of the problem, despite spending hours
looking for the answer. It is not the biggest problem
on the Board, but I would be extremely grateful if
someone can come to my aid. Thanks, Ken.

what else have you tried? Post back.

Ken, go to Start>Run type msconfig Select Startup. Look there for a
WinMedia Player entry. If there uncheck.
Also, look " " " regedit Navigate to
Hkey_Local_Machine\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\
Run, Run once etc Look for an entry in all the Run folders.

Hkey_Current_User\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\Run, RunOnce
