windows media player

I hope someone can help. My windows media player won't play sound/video clips
from the internet anymore. It says.......
'Windows Media Player cannot play the file. If the file is located on the
Internet, connect to the Internet. If the file is located a removable storage
card, insert the storage card.'
Recently I've changed to a wireless internet connection, could this be the
issue? Also, I have updated windows media player to version 10 if that could
cause an issue?

Hello t here,
I would suggest that you do a restore from your last good
setting, from a time that your media player worked. it will be within the
performance and maintainence of the control panel. follow the prompt screens
and that may give you some clue.
