I cannot view any movies. I keep getting the following message. Need to
know what to do.

Windows Media Player cannot play the file. If the file is located on the
Internet, connect to the Internet. If the file is located a removable storage
card, insert the storage card.

Hi Hawk,

See if the information in this MSKB article helps you to resolve the problem:

If not, then perhaps post your question to the newsgroup that's dedicated to
Windows Media Player

microsoft.public.windowsmedia.player (newsreader)

Perhaps the folks that frequent that newsgroup could better assist you.

"I cannot view any movies", doesn't say anything. Where are these
movies located that you are trying to view. Are they on the Internet,
are they downloaded to your harddrive or on a CD/DVD??? We are
not clairvoyant and glad to assist you but..................
