Windows Media Player

My window media player refuses to play. It gives a
readout "Problem with Digital Rights Management Component".
When I attempt to use the "Restore Licence" facility I get
the same message and it prevents the connection to
Microsoft. Can anyone pleasse point me in the right
direction?

microsoft.public.windowsmedia)
