How can you uninstall it?

When I go ADD/REMOVE it ask to restore to a previous version...I want to
uninstall it...

Hi Joe

You can't uninstall Media Player. Nearest you can get is via Add/Remove
Windows Components, but going that way 'could' possibly affect other
installed programs.
