Windows Media Player 11 for Windows XP

Joe

I have an HP Dv9420US laptop and I was trying to download a movie from
Netflix and it said that I needed Windows Media Player. I had upgraded to 11
with no problems noted. Now I'm being told that the DRM is not working. I
have re-installed the Media Player 11 4 times and it still gives me an error.
"A Windows Media Digital Rights Management (DRM) component encountered a
problem."
I followed the MS Readme for this problem and it said that I must uninstall
Media Player 11. It said that I would be put down to a privious version. It
didn't work and I still can't remove it or repair it or get the DRM working.
Please help.

Dear Joe:
I strongly suggest you cross-post this to
microsoft.public.multimedia.mediaplayer. Either that or complain to Netflix
directly.
Good luck.
