Problem Uninstalling a Program

I am trying to free up some hard drive space and want to get rid of my
MP3 player's programs as it works fine with Media Player, but
everytime I try to uninstall Creative Mediasource I get the following
error : setup.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close.

I go into add/remove programs and click on uninstall, but then I get
this error.

Download the windows installer and try the uninstall:
Windows Installer 3.1 Redistributable (v2)

If the above didn't help, try to reinstall the MP3 and then try the
uninstall, does it help?.
Run this command:
sfc /scannow click [OK] and let it run, it may ask you about the XP CD!.
Reboot and try the removal, does it work?.

If that didn't help at all, then make sure the machine is malware free and
virus free then go to the Directory and manually delete the folder(s) for the
MP3:
C:\Program files\MP3 Player\
then download this tool:
