Trouble Uninstalling Program

I am trying to free up some hard drive space and want to get rid of my
MP3 player's programs as it works fine with Media Player, but
everytime I try to uninstall Creative Mediasource I get the following
error : setup.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close.

I go into add/remove programs and click on uninstall, but then I get
this error.

The Add/Remove programs applet just invokes the program's own
uninstaller routine. So in this case, Mediasource's uninstall routine
is finding something it doesn't expect and crashing.

I can think of two ways to work with this: reinstall Mediasource
(which we hope will fix whatever problem the uninstaller is
encountering), then use Add/Remove, as you've been trying to do. The
other alternative is simply to delete Mediasource's directory and any
shortcuts (on your desktop, in your Start menu) pointing to it.
