Unable to uninstall program

Each time I try to uninstall (remove) the Walmart Digital Photo Manager
Program using the "Add or Remove Programs" feature I get the error message:
"Setup.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close". If I try to
download it first I get the message that "Photo Manager 2.3.exe is not a
valid Win 32 application" and can't download it. I am unable to view any
photos on a Walmart disk with the program in place and I am told by Walmart
tech support that "the issue you are experiencing was caused by a recent
update to the website. In order to resolve the problem, you will
need to uninstall and reinstall the software". By the way I was able to
remove another program without difficulty.
Any suggestions on how to remove the Walmart program?
Thanks.

Could you do a system restore to a time before you installed it?

Or...maybe the following freeware would be worth a try:

Revo Uninstaller

If you checked the download link from the Walmart site, it
mentions "preclick.com". They may be the authors of
the software. Give their tech support a try.

( Win32 Cabinet Self-Extractor - 25,846,200 bytes )

http://www.preclick.com/releases/partner/Wal-Mart/WalmartDigitalPhotoManager2.3.exe

I doubt they'll support the "Wally download", but you never know.
Their deal with Walmart could be, that Walmart provides the support.

Thank you for your response and reference freeware.
Yes, I did do a system restore without success. Interestingly, however I
could not get to a restore point prior to January 29, 2009. I actually tried
to go back to July, 2008 but was unable to do so.
Thanks again.

Paul:
Thank you for your response and suggestion.
I did see that preclick.com was the author but I never thought of contacting
them. Good idea. I'll give it a try and see if they can help and thanks for
the link.

Paul:
I contacted pre-click and they were very helpful. I deleted the program
directly from the c drive and it appears that the program is gone. I say
"appears" because it is still listed on the control panel under add/remove
programs but nowhere else can I find it.
I addition, once I deleted the program I can again read the Wal-Mart picture
CD which I couldn't do when the program was in place.
Thanks to all for you help and suggestions.
