Uninstall

I recently installed a program and whilst doing so it informed that due to
some problem Uninstaller will not be installed. The program does not run
properly and now I cannot uninstall the program - when I try to remove it
from Control Panel>Add Remove programs I get the message "unable to locate
the installation log file xxx.isu - Uninstallation will not continue"

I have had to resort to deleting the folder from Program Files but need also
to remove the entrty in the list of Add/Remove Programs. Is it possible to
do so?
