Windows Media Player 11 Won't Play Streaming Music

A

Andrew Tatum

I am trying to play the stream coming from this website: http://
www.kiss1053.com/

The exact location of the stream is: mms://amazon.atlantic.net/
kiss1053

I click on the link and Windows Media Player opens up... shortly
thereafter I receive the following error:

Windows Media Player cannot find the file. If you are trying to play,
burn, or sync an item that is in your library, the item might point to
a file that has been moved, renamed, or deleted.

The thing is... the error is incorrect. The person sitting right next
to me has no issues.

What's the deal?

The website http://www.kiss1053.com/ works fine.
You'll need to register, login and use a password to
access streaming music files.
The website you mention mms://amazon.atlantic.net/kiss1053
is not a URL to access, but can be accessed after entering
the Kiss1053 website. MMS is a MultiMedia Stream.
